As the head note is the first to be sensed, it shapes the first impression that you have of the fragrance. Heart note: The heart note of the fragrance is first perceived in the hours after the head note has evaporated and represents the individual character of each fragrance. Base note: The base note lasts fort he longest amount of time and lets the fragrance fade away softly and pleasantly.
